Alana has been a fully registered chiropractor since 2008, after completing the 5 year degree in chiropractic at the McTimoney College of Chiropractic, Abingdon, Oxford.
Alana is passionate about maintaining well being of herself and her clients. She keeps fit by regular training with weights, interval cardio training, climbing, yoga, walking and meditates daily.
Alana also believes there is a strong link between emotional and physical health, and it is important to consider the clients as a whole.
The gentle and adaptable technique of McTimoney Chiropractic never ceases to astound her with the results that can be achieved making it suitable for so many people of all walks of life, including her 95 year old grandma!
She finds the combination of soft tissue work using techniques such as massage, Trigger point, Emmett, and Touch for health, work really well alongside the gentle manipulations of the Mctimoney chiropractic.
Her additional training within the diversified technique, which involves stronger high velocity adjustments that cause a joint to gap and often click, may also be suggested after consultation and agreement with the client. Progress is carefully monitored and discussed throughout the treatment plan.
