Back Pain Symptoms

Back pains affect up to 90% of British people at some point in their lives. Back pain symptoms are can be mild but severe back pain is common and back pain causes are varied.

Often lifestyle factors can be the root cause, with every day lifting tasks or bad posture causing lumbar muscle sprain. However in other cases more degenerative causes such as a ruptured discs or spinal arthritis can be the root cause of back pain.

Often this can be an issue in pregnancy back pain, as the unborn baby presses against the sciatic nerve. In other instances sciatic pain from the pregnancy is due to inflammation in the tissues surrounding the sciatic nerve. Regardless of cause; the lower back and leg pain can be excruciating.
